An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work within Natural, Fair-trade and Organic food and drink products for a rapidly growing SME business.

Client Details

My client is an SME who specialises in Natural, Fair-trade, Organic food and drink products. They are experiencing growth of over 25% YOY. Their products have many awards and they have a great presence in their market space. Their presence in their sector has grown strongly from a small stand at a trade show to major wholesalers and retailers.

Description

The role is an exciting role for someone who wants the autonomy to break into new markets for this leading Natural, Fair-trade and Organic food and drink SME. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within the Grocery Channel.

Profile

Ideally experience of working with Top 4
Full P&L and JBP for current accounts
Ambitious and highly motivated, with your proven sales track record and professional communication skills.
The experience of working on new business pitches - and winning them!
A positive 'can do' attitude
An entrepreneurial approach to client development
The desire to win today, but also to create and maintain robust client relationships for the longer-term
Sufficient experience and weight to be taken seriously at all levels, including: main board directors, procurement, marketing teams, brand managers
Ideally experience in Natural, Fair-trade and Organic food and drink.
