National Account Manager – Stationery

Based in West Midlands

My client is a large manufacturer of creative consumer goods ranging from quality paper to educational products.  With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, they have grown to be a leader in their sector and are part of a global business turning over $300million. Their product portfolio contains licenses as well as heritage brands over 120 years old.  The business sells into well-established retailer such as Hobbycraft and John Lewis. They sell into over 30 countries around the world and have a turnover of circa £8million. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit a National Account Manager to oversee established UK accounts and source new business currently being introduced.

As National Account Manager you will report into the Sales Director, your role will be mainly office based and largely customer facing. There will be opportunities to assist with product development, build on relationships with existing clients and establish new ones. You will have full profit and loss accountability, as well as the chance to work with the marketing team. You will also be involved in the acquisition of new licenses to the business.

My client is looking for an excellent sales person ideally with experience with key retailers and a proven growth with national accounts. Ideally the candidate will have an arts & crafts or stationery product background and be dedicated to achieving outstanding results. The ideal applicant will be based in the West Midlands with a full driving license.
