Job Details
A leading consumer business with a huge international presence is seeking a talented and ambitious account manager to take stock of a strategically important account within their fast-growing consumer electronics category.
The role will report into the Account Controller and will be responsible for growing the profitability and market share in line with the company objectives. This will be supported by an exciting NPD pipeline with plans to introduce a variety of new categories in the upcoming year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to move quickly through a widely reputable business. Despite being a huge organisation, the business is very lean allowing for a high level of autonomy, accountability and diversity within their sales roles.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver volume sales targets in established accounts
- Achieve the highest standards of execution for the brand on the Internet and in stores
- Deliver compelling Joint Business Plans with the retailers
- Contribute to and implement channel strategies that optimise retail opportunities and company profitability in line with goals
- Manage costs to maximise profitability across account portfolio
- Manage Annual Terms Negotiations
- Fulfil other duties as required
Experience required:
- Previous account management background
- Proven delivery of sales targets
- Worked with and contributed to a high performing sales team
- Has been exposed to senior level account negotiations
- Evidence of Budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines
- High level of financial acumen and commercial awareness
- Working knowledge of the Retail industry, either with an electrical manufacturer or other
- Degree of 2:2 or above
