With a trading history that stretches back 150 years, Royal Sanders is a well-established Dutch and UK business and a leading supplier of personal care products to retailers, discounters and brand owners. Turning over in excess of €100 million, Royal Sanders is one of the most successful, independent personal care companies in Europe. Having entered the UK market in 2011, the business now supplies products across a number of consumable categories. The company primarily manufactures private label, personal care products on behalf of most of the UK’s leading retailers, discounters and some brand owners. Having recently invested significantly in its UK manufacturing site, the business is now looking to recruit a highly capable Commercial Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a crucial appointment for the business and will form part of the senior team. The primary objective of the role will be to manage all key accounts, build relationships and grow the business, with the objective to double the UK turnover in the near future. You will be responsible for planning and negotiating own label contracts, and ad-hoc projects on behalf of the customers. Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, you must be able to spot sales opportunities that in turn will help the business achieve its commercial goals. You will be part of a small team, so naturally you must be able to communicate well internally and interact with your colleagues.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience working within an FMCG environment, not necessarily within personal care. It is essential that you have worked with a private label product and are able to understand the transactional process of winning business, then delivering upon that. You must be entrepreneurial, a self-starter, with a demonstrable track record of success in winning private label business.
