Role Profile

A Global leading FMCG business based on the M4 corridor is now looking for a highly ambitions and strategic Category Manager to join their Grocery Business. Here you will work closely with The Category Head in formulating and implementing plans to grow a specific category within the Key Grocer Accounts.

The role will involve working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams identifying areas to approach from a brand and channel perspective. You will also liaise externally with Buyers and Merchandisers to provide further insight into other growth avenues.

Shopper Insight and Category expertise will also be key when putting plans and strategies in place; this will be achieved through working cross functionally with the wider team whilst maintaining external relationships with the key customers. You will also analyse the market to really understand the competitor and use market data to underpin the key drivers of growth.

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will have previous experience with in FMCG Category Management with knowledge of multiple product categories. Able to identify and deliver strategic plans whilst maintaining the ability to work in a fast passed and autonomous environment. Have strong internal and external relationship building and communication skills. IT Literate
