National Account Manager- Discounter Channel

£Competitive basic + bonus + car allowance + benefits

Based:  Flexible North/Midlands/South 

Part of the €300m Valeo group, Rowse Honey are a highly successful business with a reputation for being the UK's no1 honey category experts with a brand and own label market share of over 85%.

Our business is well invested in manufacturing, above the line marketing, NPD as well as our people and following the recent appointment of a new Managing Director we are looking to recruit an outstanding high calibre National Account Manager.

This high profile role will report directly to the Sales Director and will have strategic and full sales c. £10M and P&L control of a range of Discounter Channel customers.  

As part of this role, you will take responsibility for selling the Rowse Honey brand as well as the exciting and newly acquired Balconi Cakes and Bolands Biscuits brands. 

Having been well trained in modern FMCG Commercial management within recognised major branded or brand and own label companies, you have gained experience and can demonstrate a track record of profitable sales growth.

Your experience should include a strong understanding of JBP management and negotiation as well as category insight abilities in building effective customer led business solutions with a focus on new business brand building.

You are customer focussed and thrive on working cross functionally both internally and externally as well as possessing the gravitas and personality to develop highly effective relationships with the energy and enthusiasm to achieve both your commercial and personal goals.

This role is flexible home based with a requirement to attend the Oxfordshire based head office c.2 days per week.
