Product Manager EMEA - 12 month maternity cover

Our client is considered one of the leading premium consumer brands. They are one of the world's best renowned brands recognised for their innovation, originality and quality.

They have an ambitious expansion plan from a product strategy point of view and are seeking a high flying individual to join the team as a Product Manager to define and implement exciting product strategies across EMEA which is at the forefront of strategic growth.

This is a 12 month maternity contract with the scope for potential future opportunities should you demonstrate value you can add to the business within this time frame.

You will be responsible for managing exciting product and packaging development across channels in EMEA. This will involve leading consumer insights initiatives, competitor research and translating that into exciting innovation and NPD to decide the strategic direction of the business. As the key EMEA representative in the Global Innovation Team, you will liaise with colleagues across other international markets to provide input on product requirements and share best practices.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated with strong retail and premium brand experience, currently in a Product Manager position with a focus on implementing product strategies within the EMEA region or other global markets. They will have a proven track record of taking strategic responsibility for the UK and international markets for a premium led consumer brand, with a strong NPD focus and outstanding marketing knowledge. The ability to speak additional languages is hugely advantageous. They will have strong understanding of the retail channels, and experience launching multiple SKU’s, as well as people management experience with the capability to develop strong relationships at all levels and hold a genuine passion for luxury trends. Strong organisational and planning skills, with an excellent balance of strategic and operational thinking are key attributes to be successful in this position. You will also be highly commercial and creative and will have exceptional negotiation and influencing skills.
