Introduction

Currently recruiting for a Head of Sales within the Quality bakery sector, based in London with a national portfolio, spanning across Wholesale, Retail, Foodservice and Own label.

This new position will lead, strategise and deliver a sales plan for continued growth.

As part of a larger expanding group within the UK and Middle East, Maison Blanc has the potential to return to greatness.

Head of Sales - Profile

You will lead the sales team, managing key national customers yourself.

Being a senior member of the management team and expected to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business, as well as being highly effective in delivering strong and profitable sales growth.

This is a hands on role and we are looking for someone who is adaptable, to lay the foundations for growth but who also has the ability and ambition to be strategic when required and can take on bigger challenges in the future.

A tenacious ‘natural salesperson’, you will have had National Account level sales experience with demonstrable success, of which a minimum of 7 years will be in a man management role.

You will come with a track record in operating at a senior level and managing strategic customer relationships to deliver value through a recognised Food & Drink business.

You will be able to develop relationships at senior levels with customers through your enthusiasm and passion.

Helping to give both a greater understanding of our abilities and services identifying gap opportunities, maintaining existing business, proactively solving customer problems and going that extra mile when required to ensure the customer feels their worth. 

With a dynamic and influential style you will be able to demonstrate leadership, coaching and development skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive, combined with maturity, enthusiasm & imagination, actively supporting and assisting colleagues

THE PERSON

An experienced, proactive, self motivated sales leader who has led business development/relationship management within the food industry with a strong and successful track record in growing sales profitability, with 10+ years of experience, including the retail sector “Big 4”.

Highly skilled networker internally and externally with exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills particularly in relation to customer relationship management

Strongly results oriented with the ability to work in a pressurised environment to demanding objectives, you will take ownership of the tasks and team

The ability to support team members, share resources and knowledge and collaborate with others to achieve goals, a team player that leads from the front.

Expanding group within the UK and Middle East, Maison Blanc has the potential to return to greatness.
