Maternity Cover - Key Account Manager – Non-Food

Our client is a market leading business in the consumer goods sector, with a number of high profile, category leading brands. Since they entered the market in the early 1900’s they have developed an excellent reputation as a manufacturer of quality. Their product range is vast from homewares, plastic goods, stationary and baby products. Their turnover has grown considerably in recent years with incremental sales of £60million since 2011. Since acquiring a new brand in 2014, the business has gone from strength to strength in their baby division. They are now looking for someone to join them on a 6 month contract to maintain this growth whilst the Sales Manager takes leave from the business. 

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for assisting on two high profile accounts within the baby sector of the business; Mothercare and Babies R Us. Within this capacity you will be responsible for pricing, promotional calendars, market research, category management and brand transformation. Alongside this varied role, you will also manage a leading distributor in the sector. In managing this account you will have full responsibility for all sales, promotional activity and the development of the newly acquired brand. This is a vast role which will offer the successful candidate a chance to rapidly broaden their skills set and join a business at one of the most exciting times.

In order to be considered for this role, you will currently be working as Junior National Account Manager or National Account Executive. Our client will consider people from food or non-food, although branded experience is preferred. Whilst this is a home based role, 2 days a week will be spent in the office so flexibility is needed.  This is an urgent position so please apply if you can start immediately.
