Category Executive

Up to £30,000, bonus, pension and 25 days holiday

The client we are working with are one of the UKs leading manufacturers of branded and own label ingredients and snack products, with a turnover in excess of £180million. Due to continued year on year growth, they are now looking to recruit a Category Executive to join their team in the midlands.

The key purpose of this role is to support the Head of Category and Category Manager in developing and delivering compelling category insights and recommendations which drive sustainable growth for the mutual benefit of the business and their key customers. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing the ongoing downloading and manipulation of multi-source data including Kantar, Retailer EPOS and reward card data. 
• Producing monthly market reports summarising category, retailer and business performance.
• Collecting and communication relevant market intelligence.
• Analysing assembled data to summarise and track market performance.

Requirements:

The role requires a degree and at least 2 years industry experience, working within a fast paced FMCG environment. You must be able to demonstrate a proven ability in managing, manipulating and analysing data from previous roles and have a high levels of PC literacy and numeracy.

This is an exceptional opportunity for the motivated Category Executive, who wishes to be a Category Manager within the next 18 months.
