Job Details

Our client is a genuine market leader, supplying leading food brands synonymous with family households across the UK and Europe.  Their brands boast a firm presence across the shelves of all the major grocery retailers, as well across convenience and impulse arenas.

Significant investment to help further expand their product portfolio across the major grocery multiples has taken place.  As a result the business is now seeking to appoint a National Account Manager (grocery) to help support and deliver ambitious growth plans.

As National Account Manager you will report directly to the Grocery Sales Director, and take full P&L responsibility for a £multi-million grocery customer account.

Leading brand and category solutions alongside cutting edge product development will strongly aid you in your work, and provide a real passion and confidence in the brands and business you represent.

As a major player in food manufacturing arenas, the business will provide significant career development through structured career paths as reward for the results you will be expected to deliver.

The business is ideally looking to identify talent from within other leading branded food and beverage suppliers.   Exposure to at least one grocery multiple customer account whilst supplying recognised brands is certainly preferable for the successful candidate.

As an individual it is essential you are able to demonstrate strong commercial ability as well as financial acumen.  Exposure to brand and category management principles, and an understanding of new product development will strongly support your application.

Finally, it is important the successful candidate has the drive and desire to succeed both as an individual and as a key team member within a fiercely competitive environment.
