Sales, Marketing and Business Development Manager - Veterinary/Medical Products

This is a senior role in a growing commercially focused business currently providing medical products to the veterinary profession through wholesalers. We have ambitious plans for expansion involving growth of the existing range, new product range coming on stream in Q4 2015 as well as looking at the European veterinary market. We are also looking at the dental and medical sectors for the existing range too.

THE ROLE

The core focus will be to drive sales of current products and to launch a marketing campaign for the new wider range of products. This is a small company so you will be fully involved with sales, marketing and business development giving ample opportunity to shine and perform.  The business is focused on growth and is actively seeking similar businesses for acquisition.

Based in north Hampshire the role is part-time of between 20 and 30 hours per week depending on experience. There will be some travel to the US to visit suppliers. The working week can be flexible to fit in with an applicants other commitments.

THE PERSON

A self starter with drive and energy, who has strong communication skills and good planning, able to work on their own as well as manage a small team. Immediate knowledge of the veterinary sector is not vital although some medical/veterinary experience would be an advantage.
