Our client is a market and category leading FMCG business with an impressive history of growth delivered through a commitment to innovation, understanding that category is the key to achieving their vision. Our client is looking to further accelerate their performance with the appointment of a best in class Category Manager.
Reporting to the Category Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Category Management for Grocery Multiple customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering category management strategy across grocery retail customers, including insight generation & reporting, management of range review and innovation. The candidate will understand that category is the key to success and have the desire to really make a difference.
In order to be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience in an FMCG company with specialist category management experience.
- Excellent communication and management skills
- The ability to generate and evaluate creative ideas
- Previous experience working within a role for a major retailer or within a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- An enthusiastic, committed and flexible approach.
