Job Details
My client is a growing FMCG food company specialising in fair trade and sustainable business. They are looking for a driven, ambitious and dynamic Sales Professional with a keen interest in this sector. The role will work very closely with the Managing Director and involve developing an effective sales strategy and implementing it in order to secure the company’s continuous, long-term growth. The business has a strong sense of community and are looking for a likeminded professional with a good all round business credentials.
The role:
- Monitor the effectiveness of current sales strategy by working closely with the Chair, Managing Director and Business Development Manager.
- Develop and monitor sales KPIs
- Devise and implement strategies to deliver new customers in new market sectors
- Cooperate with the Business Development Manager in order to keep new products in line with current trends and customer preferences. Use these new products to attract new customers and excite existing customer base
- You will be directly and fully responsible for major retail customers
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with proven success in national account management within the FMCG food sector
- Experience of having full P&L responsibility for major accounts
- Commercially aware with a flair for sales. Excellent persuasive, negotiation and networking skills
- Talent for leading a team and inspiring confidence in both colleagues and customers
- Excellent communication skills. You should be confident presenting to individuals and groups
- You should have a real aptitude for identifying new business opportunities and be inventive, passionate and determined in your pursuit of these
