Job Details
My client is a significant FMCG manufacturer supplying into the multiple grocers. The company expect to achieve an annual turnover exceeding €260m by 2016 and rapid growth means they are now recruiting a driven, ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager to join their commercial team in order to build new business across the UK.
The role:
- You will be the driving force behind forging new business relationships. You will need to identify new sales opportunities and ensure working relationships with new contacts remain strong, through your effective pitching of goods and services
- You will be home-based but will need to travel to visit manufacturing sites and customer across the UK.
- The role will involve a very strategic approach to targeting new business areas and will work very closely with the other sites within the group on this product portfolio throughout the UK and Ireland with a view to moving into Europe in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in some capacity of print manufacturing is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in a Business Development role is essential.
- An understanding of large corporates and how to operate within a ‘blue chip customer base would be ideal.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment
- Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
- You will be ambitious and be keen to join a forward thinking business where high achievement is recognised and rewarded. There will be opportunities for progression for the right individual.
