DCS Europe has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Customer Services Advisor to join the team based in Stratford upon Avon. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary of £18,000 + depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities of our Retail Customer Services Advisor

- Providing main point of office contact for customers.

- Receiving, coding and confirming orders, and liaising with other departments (Buying and Transport for example) to ensure that orders are delivered on time.

- As our Retail Customer Services Advisor you will be advising customers of unavailable and discontinued products, offering alternatives where available, upselling to full layers and pallets, maximising stock shipped.

- Resolving issues with any customer related problems and handling QIRs as necessary.

- Answering ad-hoc queries from customers relating to products, orders, promotions etc.

- Some ad-hoc administration for sales team (may include such things as keying New Line Forms, Price Increase Forms, Barcode Changes, Repack Forms, Waste Packaging, Promotion confirmations etc.)

- Sourcing samples and sending them out (following the SOP correctly)

- Answering the general phone if reception is busy, and providing back up for greeting visitors.

- Support for other members of staff (as and when needed)

Essential Skills needed to become our Retail Customer Services Advisor

- GCSE Maths and English

- Computer knowledge – Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook

- Sage knowledge advantageous

- Good level of numerical ability and accuracy

- Good Verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to communicate at all levels

- Self - Motivated and flexible to change

- Ability to build relationships and liaise effectively with a variety of networks

- Time management and prioritising abilities

- Customer service/care skills

- Awareness of Quality procedures and the need for Quality focus

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Excellent administration and organisational abilities.

- Problem solving skills
