We’re looking for a Brand Manager, based in York to work with our global SMARTIES brand to own the creation and execution of brand plans and deliver specific business targets aligned to the business Blueprint.

Working within our Marketing team, as SMARTIES Brand Manager you’ll have responsibility for developing one – or more – of our well-loved, household-name brands. Marketing at Nestlé gives you experience of the full mix of disciplines from generating brand strategy to executing annual plans, from leading exciting innovation and renovation initiatives to creating engaging consumer communications and you’ll be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life.

Our Opportunity

Based at our Nestlé York Factory site - home of KIT KAT, Nestlé is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as SMARTIES, AREO, YORKIE and MILKY BAR. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager you will lead the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan including new product development projects for the SMARTIES brand. Other responsibilities will include consumer engagement campaigns, product renovation initiatives, monitoring and analysing brand and category performance, packaging development, and flawless in-store activation plans as well as full responsibility for the profit & loss (P&L).

As SMARTIES Brand Manager you will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brand you will have strong project management and analytical skills. You will need to be highly organised, conscientious and a team player. Pro-activity and enthusiasm are essential to this role along with a leadership capability and creative thinking.  You will have marketing experience as an Assistant Brand Manager/brand manager with an FMCG background (or similar) and come from a strong academic background.
