About the Role:
This is a fantastic category executive role for someone who is looking for recognition and progression. You will be working on all of the top 6 accounts (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrison’s, M&S, Asda, Ocado + more) on a monthly rotation basis with exposure to both private label and branded products.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for analysis and therefore spotting of trends in the market
- Able to present findings successfully to key internal stakeholders using PowerPoint and tailored software
- Build an understanding of customer objectives and direction
- Plan, develop, agree strong data driven arguments
- Maximise commercial value of consumer insight data
- Review pre and post promotional activity analysis to maximise key learnings
Planning
- Develop plans at an operational level in order to build specified categories of business within the customer to deliver short and long term company, customer and consumer objectives
- Develop projects with the internal team to ensure future growth of the business
About You:
Desired Skills and Experience
- High working level of SAP and Excel
- Knowledge of Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby and EPOS Data
- Ideally come from a strong FMCG business, but experience from a data house is welcomed.
- Effective communicator - able to negotiate and influence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can manage cross functional relationships
- Strong attention to detail
- Creates a positive environment while remaining focused on priorities and tackling obstacles
