Job Details
My client is looking for an Interim Shift Manager to support their site during the busy summer period. The site, based in the North West, produces branded, ambient cake products supplying into all the major multiples.
Job Outline:
To assist with the achievement of overall site strategy by optimising all aspects of the operation.
This role has a broad remit, requiring the shift manager to liaise across various disciplines, including HSE, Continuous Improvement, Engineering and Quality Management, as well as managing and developing staff. This role will have 3 direct reports, with 25-50 indirect and will report into the Operations Manager.
This role is also responsible for budgetary control, labour usage and material variance.
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
• HACCP Awareness
• Good knowledge of food hygiene
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Continuous Improvement experience
Desirable:
• Experience in a similar role
• 3+ years experience
• IOSH, CMI or similar
