Our client is one of Europe’s leading growers and packers of watercress, leafy salads, spinach and fresh herbs. Due to the recent success of the business they now require a National Account Manager to join the Tesco Commercial team.
This newly created position will report into the Tesco Account Director and will support sales, ensuring that market share growth within Tesco’s is maximised across the multiple categories supplied. The daily responsibilities of this position will be primarily to support the Tesco account providing both internal and external stakeholders with weekly and monthly sales figures whilst communicating and negotiating with the Tesco’s buyers on a weekly basis. The role will establish effective relationships with the Tesco Supply Chain Team to ensure the successful execution of promotions in store. This position will also be the primary point of contact for both food service and manufacturing clients and will take a proactive approach to seek out new business opportunities.
To apply for this opportunity candidates must have retailer or foodservice experience working within a FMCG commercial team. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial understanding, be highly analytical, able to form strong relationships and have excellent negotiation skills.
