Territory Manager - HP


Working with one of the world's top technology brands this is a great opportunity to join our McCurrach Technology team as a Territory Manager.

You will be an ambassador for the Technology Client Brand & will own take ownership for a designated call file of prestigious retail stores. This is an extremely varied role with a high level of responsibility. You will lead visits with key electrical retailers & building strong relationships with store staff training them on the client's latest innovations in computing and print. Also critical will be your ability to provide valuable retailer insight & implement various initiatives, including Point of Sale, to help drive client product sales.


Job Role

  • Deliver face-to-face training with store staff and arrange Group Training activity
  • Lead account visits to an agreed call file
  • Support Training colleagues at National and Regional Retailer events
  • Conduct other ad-hoc in-store training material designed to increase sales
  • Identify opportunities for increased brand awareness and display /placement
  • Manage and monitor performance against set KPIs
  • Provide weekly market insight
  • Answer reporting tool questions in every call and maintain daily synchronisation
  • Keep abreast of the market and maintain knowledge of competitor and partner's activity

Skills Required

 

  • Graduate calibre with a minimum of 6 months Sales/Retail/Training experience ideally within the Technology industry
  • A proven passion for Technology
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • High degree of influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to both influence and implement
  • Confident with high levels of personal motivation, drive and enthusiasm
  • Flexible and organised attitude with the ability to deliver to challenging deadlines
  • Must have full UK driving licence (with less than 6 points and no previous bans as this role comes with a company car) & confidence to cover a challenging geographical region
