My client are a global food business turning over in excess of £900m. They have a number of sites across the UK & US and employ around 12,000 people. They operate across a range of chilled, ambient and frozen foods supplying all the leading retailers, foodservice and wholesale customers under own label products in the UK and all over the world. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to add a Senior Category Manager to the team.

As Senior Category Manager, you will have a team of 6 direct reports and will have responsibility for a top 4 customer, as well as having lots of involvement in other customers. You will split your time between the office and out with customers, and will be responsible for generating customer and consumer insight, strategic recommendations and action plans to improve category performance.

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong category background working in an FMCG food business. Experience across a range of top 4 retailers is essential, and man management experience would be very beneficial. It is also key you have operated in a customer facing role.
