As one of the Europe’s leading manufacturers of value added meat products, my client offers a wide range of meat product across the Chilled, Frozen and Food to Go categories. They have a glowing reputation in the industry and enjoy extensive national distribution across the Retail, Foodservice, Wholesale and B2B channels. The business has recently enjoyed some great successes and as a result they have recently invested heavily into their UK operations. Following on from an internal promotion my client is looking to appoint an addition National Account Manager to manage the Coop account and a category within Morrisons.

As National Account Manager you will have full responsibility for Coop account and a category within Morrisons. You will report into the Retail Sales Controller working alongside a team of 5. You will work closely with the NPD team in order to ensure you are ahead of the competition. Using your excellent relationship building skills, you will be expected to foster strong relationships both internally and with your external customers.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing retail customers either at National Account Manager or Executive level. You will be keen to demonstrate self-motivation, a professional attitude, good face-to-face and telephone communication skills and a high work ethic. The successful candidate will also be a team player. Strong communication with cross functionally with other members of the management team will be essential in ensuring the success of this role. Equally important will be a ‘business management’ approach with demonstrable ability to generate and deliver challenging account plans. The position will be based at their head office in Northamptonshire.
