A great opportunity has arisen within a premium food business. Since entering the market in the mid 1960’s the business have gone from strength to strength adding different divisions to their business to cater to retail, food service and food manufacturers. Their carefully created products are present in grocers across the UK in both their chilled, bakery and deli counter departments. With their continued growth they have recently added an additional function to their business and after seeing the value it adds are now expanding. They now need a Category Insights Manager for their retail business.

Reporting into the Insights Controller, this role will sit within a team of three people, each focused on a specific category within their own channel. Your role will be instrumental in supporting the sales and marketing team to ensure strategy moving forward correctly represents the market. By research and analysing the market place you will work with Technical to present new trends and put forward suggestions. As well as communicating internally, you will work face to face with the account base, supporting National Account Managers in the field.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will have experience working in a similar position and understand Kantar, Dunnhumby or Neilsen. Whilst experience working within the food industry is not essential, a passion for food is!
