Following an expansion, a prestigious Wine Merchant and Distributor are looking for a Brand Manager to take on a portfolio of the company's key Old World Wines.

Their Story

The award-winning organisation has a reputation for delivering a high quality service across all channels of the industry, and as such, are regarded as one of the leading lights in the sector. Due to their year on year growth they have recently relocated to state of the art facilities in London and this has allowed them to further develop their customer base across both the On and Off trade. They work with some of the best suppliers in the business and this will allow you to develop a close relationship with the top wine producers across Europe.

The Opportunity

This position will be a multifaceted role managing a portfolio with a focus on their key Old World Wine accounts. You will have to understand the brands and their different priorities to best enhance the reputations of those you represent. You will be responsible for managing the relationships between these brands and their major stakeholders such as Buying, Sales and Shipping, to ensure they are best represented.

To further the sales of the brands you represent you will also be in charge of using insight data to create a relevant gap analysis in the wine market. Utilising this alongside your knowledge of brand and trade marketing, you will implement strategic plans to increase profitability.

Your Next Step…

You will require a passion and a good knowledge of the Wine Industry (ideally possessing a WSET) alongside an understanding of the best Route-To-Market strategy. Ideally you will have a direct background as a Brand Manager within wine.
