Field Sales Controller

An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead this national Field Sales team across the C&I. High Street and Discounters. As a Field Sales Controller you will have line management responsibility for a key Account Manager and six Territory Managers, with personal account management responsibility for a distributor in REI. Reporting into Head of Sales you will play an active role in the senior sales management team.

 C. £60,000 p.a. plus bonus, car and excellent package

You will work with the SMT to agree budgets and set strategic guidelines for the field sales team, working with them to optimise sales and profitability

Take full responsibility for your team and sales number whilst exceeding expectations and  outperforming market growth

Work with your team to develop improved sales results through leadership, motivation, training and coaching.

You should be able to show demonstrable business success in both man-management and national account management with strong business acumen

Be a strategic thinker with strengths in people management, business planning and forecasting whilst showing exceptional communication skills

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong education, ideally with Degree in Business Studies or similar
• Demonstrable business success & career progression in both Sales and Marketing
• Experience & success in both man-management and account management
• A good working knowledge of the high street/convenience channel
