Regional Manager

This iconic, exciting drinks business is a market leader in the beverage industry. Their products are backed by an inspirational marketing drive and their range of over 100 varieties are drank all over the world. All their ingredients are ethically sourced working closely with the Ethical Tea Partnership, Save the Children and Rainforest Alliance.

The International Markets business has delivered +16% year on year sales growth in each region over the past 3 years. To continue this growth track, over the next 5 years the International Markets team needs to transform the investment levels and management of their key brands. They are now looking to fill a new Regional Manager position.

Reporting directly into the International General Manager this new role will be a broad commercial position. The role presents a real opportunity to be at the heart of design, development and implementation of a long-term brand and business strategy in the region. The Regional Manager will have full P&L responsibility for a key brand in the business and will have the freedom and autonomy to apply their strong sales, marketing & supply chain disciplines to drive a step change in business performance. The Regional Manager will inspire brand distributor and contract manufacturer partners with their vision for the business and clarity of commercial and marketing strategy. The role has one direct report; Regional  Executive.

As a dynamic, resilient and autonomous person, the successful Regional Manager will be a self-motivated team player, willing to take initiative, with high levels of drive, combined with an attention to detail and a desire for continuous learning.  You will thrive in a changing environment and look forward to a challenge and initiating change. You are able to build effective networks and teams and a natural collaborator. You have marketing flair, commercial acumen, are financially literate, analytically minded, a good communicator and culturally aware.

The successful candidate will have a minimum experience of 8 years in a commercial (sales/marketing) contact role in a branded FMCG environment, with experience of International business. You should have developed short and long term strategies with leading brands in a sales or marketing function. Working with Africa /Caribbean would be desirable but not essential. Don’t be fooled by the title of this position. This role sits on the senior team and has a big input into the overall International function. It is closely aligned to the responsibilities of a Regional Manager so experience of working with this kind of responsibility is key.
