Regional Sales Manager – East Midlands (Drinks)

£45,000 basic, 20% bonus, company car, pension & healthcare

This is one of the biggest brand names in drinks. A young, vibrant and dynamic company, they are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to add value to their Off-Premise channel across the East midlands. Often seen as a creative and quirky company, their globally recognised brand has a major presence in the both the on and off trade. They require people that have bright ideas, are positive, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic. This is an autonomous, creative position working with a high profile FMCG brand; opportunities like this are extremely rare.

Reporting to the Head of Field Sales, you will be responsible for the Off-Premise channel across the East Midlands. You will be directly responsible for the coaching, mentoring and development of 8 field sales executives selling into the Off-Trade. You will also have direct involvement with recruitment, retention and development plans of your field sales force ensuring a high performing sales team at all times! Your aim will be to bring out the best in your team of 8 field sales exceutives through a positive mentoring approach

An ideal candidate would have a mix of account and people management experience, if you’ve been a NAM and RSM that would be perfect. You must derive from an FMCG background and experience within off trade accounts would be fantastic but not essential. High levels of motivation and ambition goes without saying with this business as well as an entrepreneurial spark. You will have had hands in involvement with recruitment, mentoring existing staff through personal development plans and will be knowledgeable of the industry. Candidates with a strong background of field sales within a 3rd party sales force are also strongly urged to apply.
