As Account Manager, you will be selling a product portfolio of food ingredients into food manufacturers and distilleries. The role is a mixture of account management and new business covering Scotland and the North East of England

My client is a well known global market leader in their field with offices in Scotland and across the UK.
Description
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and growing the product portfolio of food ingredients into the food and drink markets.
- Ensuring that the entire product range and services are sold effectively and that profitability is maximised, ensuring that budget sales volume, value, gross margin and profits are achieved.
- Demonstrating industry knowledge and credibility within the food and drink customer base to enable new business development in both new and existing customers.
Profile
The successful Account Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:
- Proven track record in account management and business development within the food and drink industry or an associated industry.
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills as well as being passionate and driven.
- Ability to communicate effectively to customers, suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
- FMCG or water treatment sales background would be advantageous.
- Able to provide technical advice when required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Flexible to stay away from home when required.
Job Offer
£30 - 31k basic salary DOE + car + bonus + healthcare + phone + laptop + childcare vouchers + 25 days holiday
