Stock/Merchandising Analyst- Job Opportunity

My client is a well-renowned company with over 250 stores across the UK, they are recruiting for a Stock/Merchandising Analyst. The company is a market leader in it's sector and they are a business who prides itself on their vibrant and fun working culture. They are looking for a passionate and logical Merchandising analyst who is a retail supply chain expert to join their merchandising team in their head office.

As a Merchandising Analyst your key responsibilities will include:

* Working extensively with Far East suppliers to plan all bulk shipping orders in the most efficient way
* Managing and monitoring the availability and intake of a diverse range of products from the UK and abroad
* Using programs for stock replenishment management to effectively control branch stock levels
* Work closely with the Buying team to provide input on range reviews, artwork / packaging, pricing and product specifications
* Plan and forecast product availability around seasonal events and the promotions calendar


To be an ideal for the role, you will have the following experience:

⢠Experience in a retail supply chain environment i.e. Merchandising, Replenishment, Forecasting and be both highly analytical and commercial
⢠Advanced IT skills, especially proficient with Excel
⢠Be able to work at pace, react quickly to changes and be positive, proactive and forward thinking
⢠Ability to work both as part of team and under their own initiative
