NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & PACKAGING CONTROLLER

Established in 1895 the family owned firm of Gordon and MacPhail has a number of business interests.

It is a retailer in Elgin, a wholesaler of wines and spirits in the UK; a bottler of Scotch whiskies, an exporter to over 60 International markets; and a distiller, owning Benromach Distillery in Forres.

Based in Elgin, the successful applicant will be part of a dynamic marketing team and will take the lead role in co-ordinating and delivering New Product Development projects for both Benromach and Gordon & MacPhail portfolios on time and on budget.

The successful applicant will have:

• Experience of delivering new products and packaging projects, ideally in the drinks industry
• A proven track record of managing projects on time and on budget
• Experience of briefing and working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Experience of managing budgets and analysing financial data
• A "hands on" approach to all tasks
• The ability to take a proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results
• A tenacious, versatile approach to working
• Experience of setting priorities which take into account short and long-term needs of the business
