NATIONAL ACCOUNT SALES MANAGER – SEIKO WATCHES

 

 

 

Commutable – Maidenhead , BERKSHIRE

SEIKO UK Limited is the wholly-owned UK subsidiary of the Seiko Watch Corporation of Tokyo , Japan.

 

 

 

Their brands include SEIKO , PULSAR and LORUS watches and SEIKO and LORUS clocks.

 

Additionally our client is the UK distributor for TED BAKER and KENNETH COLE Watches as well as Morellato watch straps and bracelets.

 

 

 

Globally consumer recognition of the SEIKO brand – continues to eclipse virtually every other watch manufacturing name ; high profile partners at the forefront of world sport – tennis player Novak Djokovic and the rising star of Russian athletics Daraya Klishina underscore their commitment to superlative technology – ever striving to produce best of class performance  be it on the court – on the track or on our wrists…

 

 

 

In recognition of the importance of the SEIKO watch brand and its ongoing contribution to the business the company wishes to create a new role focusing on nurturing and developing upper tier major accounts.

 

 

 

The ideal candidate may already have experience within the UK Watch business – certainly at a level no lower than handling National Accounts.

 

Prior to this present career experience it would be preferable that the individual could demonstrate the very best of FMCG blue-chip Sales & Marketing upbringing.

 

 

 

If a past association has seen success within another as polished Japanese owned & operated corporation this could additionally be beneficial. Educationally there should be proof of performance to a high level – we’d expect nothing less than this appointee being of graduate calibre – particularly in view of the future pathway such a high profile role could in the future lead to.

 

 

 

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this new remit is to specifically assist the development of ‘Upper Tier’ National Multiple Retail Jewellery accounts and Department Store together with Travel Retail majors.

 

 

 

The individual will be used to operating in a meticulous fashion and have a zest for utilising state –of- the art technology to determine accurately every open sales opportunity – and will thrive in ensuring that mutually committed too trading goals are supported brand-side to ensure delivery and where possible surpass best -held buyer store performance expectation.

 

 

 

Overviewing a brand Visual Merchandiser team you will channel and focus their field operational activities to ensure that the SEIKO equity continues to rise and gain the deserved recognition within your controlled retail estate.

 

 

 

One area that personally you are able to take great pride in will be your ability to seize upon new distribution opportunities – with this in mind the requirement is for a latent pioneer used to dealing with ‘luxury high specification ‘merchandise able to translate world class technologies into new categories of sales opportunity. Clients  existing & prospective are yes familiar to the brand but not possibly not the seas of originality which culminated in SEIKO being awarded European Watch of the Year.

 

 

 

Exciting as this brief is – you will need to demonstrate solid team play – relate well to our existing well-thought of SEIKO team recognising their collective achievements to- date but equally demonstrate your own mission to add value and quickly build sales momentum & product listing success within your specific trading area.
