Supply Chain Manager

The Business

We are currently working with one of the biggest fresh produce businesses in Australia. They are looking to bring in an experienced supply chain manager with good soft fruit and UK Retail experience. The role will act as the key link between the growers and the business, ensuring good communication is maintained throughout the season. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to live the Australian dream, for the right candidate!

The Role

• Liaise with the growers and commercial team, ensuring growing projections and forecasts meet the customer requirements
• Implement long term supply strategy to cover as many eventualities as possible
• Being the main point of contact for the growers in the business and being a key link for new varietal activity as well
• Agreeing prices and payback schedules to the growers

The Person

• Must have soft fruit experience. Ideally with a background in procurement/supply chain, but would consider someone with good farm knowledge as well
• Will have good business acumen as you will be responsible for managing the growers expectations and seeking out new opportunities as well
• Will have a passion for the industry and be able to bring drive and energy to the role
• Must be a good communicator as there will be several stakeholders to keep informed at all times
