A great opportunity has arisen for a Category Management professional for a 12 month fixed term contract! This is a global FMCG business with enviable brands that are performing very well.

Key objectives:

  • Build ongoing close relationships with specified customers, in order to establish the business as key category influencers, especially around range and merchandising changes.
  • Using the generic category vision and drivers, develop and own account.
  • Develop customer specific tactics to unlock the category drivers in the relevant accounts.
  • Become the customer category expert, internalizing insight to shape the overall category vision, drivers and tactics.
  • Work cross functionally with sales, shopper and insight to implement best category practice.




Previous experience in FMCG category management is a must, but candidates can come from either a food or non food background. Excellent communication skills and working and driving autonomously is also essential.

This is a fantastic role for a recent leaver, someone who is looking to get back to work or soon to finish their current contract.
