Educated to Degree level, you've proved you've got great potential, now it’s time for a role in which you can really fly. You may have started a career in customer-facing field sales and you want to transfer your skills to a company that will support your development.  You may be looking for experience in field sales.  You'll have a curiosity to learn, develop and throw yourself outside of your comfort zone. Happy working remotely to targets and a true self-starter, you'll need the strong interpersonal skills to interact daily in the external environment in which you will be based as well as building strong internal relationships that will support your success ongoing. 

  

As Territory Development Manager reporting to our Field Sales Manager you'll be responsible for developing a territory of approximately 100 retailers. These stores will be a mix of true independents, fascia stores and symbol outlets.  You'll develop a deep understanding of your differing customers' needs. Calli g on them every month you will build strong relationships with them and follow the Mars selling process to enable you to convert them into ideal outlets for Mars. 

  

As Territory Development Manager you'll be responsible for the store success across your portfolio and you will achieve success in your target areas by: 

  • Effective route planning and analysis
  • Driving distribution of Mars chocolate
  • Ensuring availability of Mars products
  • Delivering chocolate display solutions on main fixture that will grow sales
  • Delivering NPD launch plans in your stores
  • Selling activity and deals to agreed target levels
  • High levels of communication

If you have a strong drive for results, great interpersonal skills, a knack for negotiation and thrive off regular customer interaction then this Territory Development Manager role is for you. 

  

For the Territory Development Manager you'll also need a full UK driving licence and you must be fully mobile within your territory.
