Category/Forecast Analyst - Food Manufacturer - Waitrose

My client is a food manufacturer of own label products supplied to retail customers in the UK. In particular this role will deal with the Waitrose account.

Due to expansion of the business they are recruiting a category/forecast analyst to perform this exciting role in the business.  The role is a highly responsible one with a wide reaching impact in the business and will play a key part in the companies ongoing growth.

The Role:
•    To analyse internal and external data sources to feed into the sales team
•    To develop relationships with Waitrose buyers and forecasters to get the best long term strategy for products.
•    Help to develop strategy to maintain good sales and minimise wastage

Requirements:
•    Must be able to draw insights from relevant category data and convey this to the business in meaningful fashion.
•    Food experience is essential, others will be considered but food experience is essential at this stage.

Package includes highly competitive basic salary with car or allowance

The role is based in West Yorkshire but will also involve day in Berkshire at Waitrose head office.
