With 30 years’ experience within the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry, my client is a growing business that has ambitious plans to develop areas both in the UK and internationally. Still a family run company worth an impressive £18 million, they have continued to exceed their targets and have grown from £12 million in just 4 years. Although they specialise in licensed products and designer brands, they also manufacture bespoke private label collections for a multitude of retailers and businesses.  Heavily design focused, the business is constantly looking for the big next thing and look to create products consumers have a need for. Heavily targeted towards the mass market, the business has acquired some of the most popular licensees in the market and continues to impress others. Due to their continued growth they are now seeking additional team members.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Product Development Team. This is a key role not only in the department but also in the business as you will be the contact between various departments and a key connection for external relationships. Reporting directly into the Head of Product Development, you will be heavily involved with the creative team and be focused on designing new and innovative products and packaging solutions. Working in collaboration with the Account Managers, the products you focus on will include toiletries, fragrances and beauty accessories for major UK accounts. This is a creative role with a strategic undertone and as a result your role will be varied on a day to day basis.

It is paramount you have a real interest in design-led products and having creative flair is key. Ideally you must have prior experience working in a similar industry and role, either within Cosmetics or Personal Care for 2 or more years. A degree within a creative field is desired.
