Catman Jobs are currently recruiting a Category Retail Analyst for an ambient food group with a base in West Yorkshire.

Highly thought of within the industry, they have enjoyed major commercial expansion on the back of it's successful wins within major mults on own label products. As such, they now employ 1,000's of people globally, spanning a number of state of the art factories.
The Role
Such is the success of the group in recent years, business growth has led to their key accounts requiring a Retail/Category Analyst to monitor the supply chain through to category management. This will include top line and store by store budgets, monitoring and analysing service levels, minimising wastage, reporting against delivery discrepancies, managing logistical efficiencies, weather monitoring, promotional monitoring and forecasting analysis to improve future accuracy, ranging decisions, trading reports and liaising with the relevant Buyers and planning teams to ensure supply is ran efficiently from source to shelf. In addition you will support the Senior Category Manager to develop longer term category and ranging plans to drive shopper purchase and grow the overall category.
The Individual
You will have a minimum of 1 years experience in an analytical role within FMCG food. This role requires a diverse individual with not just a keen eye for analysis and detail, but also have the interpersonal skills to link effectively between the two businesses and manage the relationship accordingly.
