Based :  Surrey

My client is a highly successful International FMCG household goods manufacturer and clear brand leader in its category in several countries worldwide. Entrepreneurial, innovative and dynamic, it manufactures and markets a range of brands plus a limited range of own-label products for key retailers, many of whom are Category partners.  The company is currently showing strong growth across all sectors with a clear strategy to build sales and distribution in both the UK and overseas markets via a network of distributor partners. The company is now looking for an additional Marketing Manager to help drive and promote their ambitious growth and NPD plans.

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing strategy and executing ATL and BTL brand communication and NPD initiatives to drive brand awareness and ultimately sales in each country for which you have responsibility.  Additionally, you will conduct relevant consumer insight and research activity to ensure that all brand communication and trade promotions are carried out effectively and within budget.  With a high degree of autonomy, you will work cross-functionally with Distributor partners, Country Managers, manufacturing and external marketing agencies to create and manage all brand communication activities in each market which will include UK & Ireland and Developing Markets (e.g. South Africa, Brazil and Australia)

The role is based at the company’s offices in Surrey with a requirement for occasional overseas travel throughout the year.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate a minimum of c.5 years previous Brand Marketing experience in either FMCG, consumer durables or household goods sectors, together with a successful track record of achievement in managing all of the key elements of the marketing mix. Commercially aware, you will have well-developed planning, project management and multi-tasking skills, combined with a “can do” attitude and strong team-working ability. Previous International experience is not essential but would be an advantage.
