Job Details

They are enjoying a sustained period of growth and change and consequently are looking to attract people from outside its traditional marketplace – ideally from the FMCG world with fresh ideas and new ways of looking at the account base and customers.
Your challenge will be to manage 1 major multi million account still with lots of opportunity for development and growth, with the added responsibility and support of a National Account Manager and two Business Development Executives working alongside you. You will report directly to the Sales Director and be seen as a leading light within your peer group - the potential for personal career growth is outstanding within the business providing you demonstrate strong leadership and decisive account management.
You will more than likely be FMCG trained, and potentially still in that market or will have moved on to the B2B sector, with a highly flexible and enquiring mind. Good with figures and data, you will be a first rate negotiator and relationship builder. You will have managed complex accounts and trading relationships previously and will appreciate the challenges they bring. Monitoring, analysis of and reporting on data and account performance are critical - using the results to shape future plans and account growth. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a given as is the desire and drive to work within a target-focused and results-driven business.
You will have strong experience of managing national accounts at head office level and can demonstrate a proven track record of account and people management.
