A rare Project Manager opportunity for one of the market leaders in the Commercial Kitchen sector

The Company

My client is a leading provider of award winning Commercial Kitchen installations into a number of sectors to include Hotels, Restaurants, Brewery groups, Leisure, Retail, Offices and Education. In addition to their impressive range of catering equipment and servery solutions they are able to offer their clients a full range of Mechanical and Electrical support as well as a full building-works and maintenance package –giving them the edge over their competitors through offering a truly ‘complete’ service.

The Person

Are you a Project Manager with experience of managing complete commercial kitchen schemes and looking for the next move?

Perhaps you have experience of selling complete kitchen schemes which you then oversee until handover and are looking to move into a Project Management role?

The successful candidate will possess detailed knowledge of a full range of Commercial Catering Equipment, combined with experience of overseeing complete installations. Ideally you will have an understanding of Electrical, Gas and Mechanical services as well as a good working knowledge of CDM regulations.

You must be highly organised with excellent communication skills at all levels. You must demonstrate a high level of numeracy and a flexible and methodical approach to your work.

Location

The Business has recently won a number of varied contracts across the South. The majority of your time will be spent on-site and your distance from the office will determine whether you work from home.

Responsibilities

Accepting brief from Clients and Area Sales Managers

Checking and issuing of final layout and service drawing

Carry out final site measurements

Coordination of procured equipment

Planning and coordination of technical schedules

Visit client sites to attend progress meetings

Brief the contracts supervisors

Visit sites to support the Contracts Supervisors and Installation Teams

Deal with quality control of completed works in conjunction with the Contracts Supervisors and maintain contract files in line with Company quality procedures

Coordinate equipment demonstrations and instruction manuals from Clients

Collate all variation and produce final accounts

Chase late payment of accounts

Handling any general sales activities.
