Here's a big role helping drive improved effectiveness of Mars Petcare customer investments by owning the Strategic Revenue Management for the Customer Development team and providing key stakeholders with an holistic overview of investments across the Mars Pet portfolio and customer base.  As Commercial Strategy Manager, reporting to our Commercial Strategy & Capability Director and co-piloting our sales leadership team, you'll ensure optimal use of customer investment expenditure to deliver our channel and business objectives whilst maximising ROI and NSV/tn, in addition to mutual growth for our customers.  As Commercial Strategy Manager you'll be the customer 'lens' on all price and promotional strategies, in addition to:

• owning and delivering the customer pricing strategy
• driving business-leading communications
• acting as Customer Development legal champion

Of graduate calibre, for the Commercial Strategy Manager your background will ideally be in FMCG trading and/or account management, although we're also interested in people with a proven sales, finance or category track record.  However, significant commercial acumen, practical analytical skills and the ability to generate insight are absolutely essential, underpinned by strong managerial skills and the vision to provide strategic direction.  A very strong all-round communicator, influencer and relationship-builder, with a proven ability to navigate through organisations via formal and informal channels, for the Commercial Strategy Manager you can also offer:

• acknowledged problem-solving skills and creative thinking
• confidence and managerial courage around senior management
• experience of working in a multi-functional business unit environment
