Group Trade Marketing Manager - SDA

The client is a global market leader in the Consumer Goods & Appliances sector and they are renowned for their strong brand, innovation and leading technologies.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Trade Marketer to join the SDA team as Group Trade Marketing Manager, reporting to the General Manager and directly responsible for x 3 Trade Marketing Managers.

You will be responsible for aligning with the Brand team to ensure that Strategic Plans are implemented across all customers within the Consumer Products division. You will also ensure commercial alignment with the NAM team and manage all promotional activities for Consumer Products and undertake effective management of the CP Trade Marketing team to deliver a great relationship between the business and the Marketing / Merchandising teams of all customers. Fully responsible for the efficient management of a sizeable budget, you will also ensure effective execution, via customers, of all Brand and promotional strategy including in-store, online, brochures, POS - aligned with Brand and Company objectives

This role will involve the management of a number of direct reports and through effective leadership, you will ensure that the Trade marketing team are motivated, helpful, enthusiastic and with a proactive can-do' and solution oriented culture.

In order to be considered for this key role, you will have exceptional understanding of Brand, Category and Trade marketing management and strategy within a blue-chip environment, ideally in CE/Electrical Appliances (or in the Retail market) although this is not essential. You will also be highly sales and customer focused, with an in-depth understand of consumer promotional activity (in-store and online) and have to really ability to lead and inspire and manage a multi-skilled team.
