Buyer - Grocery Non Food

Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Non-Food Buyer for a high end food retailer based in London. With a focus on British Heritage products and excellent ties to UK farms my client are market leading in food and drink retail and you will be given the opportunity to work with big name and artisan producers.

As the Non-Food Buyer you will be responsible for sourcing a brand appropriate product range in a profitable and sustainable manner whilst developing the offering of goods to open up the customer base. By working with the central buying team you will deliver business, category and commercial plans to grow the department and drive sales for the business. By liaising with the supply chain you will evaluate new product sales and ensure supply meets demand including promotional products. As the business has high ethical standards you must ensure all suppliers are working to strict guidelines and deliver on stock holding targets.

In order to be considered for the role you must already be working in a Buyer capacity covering non food grocery items preferably from a large retailer who can bring best practice procedures for the role.
