The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially aware National Account Controller to lead the On trade, HORECA and Showcase channel, which acts as arguably the most significant within the company.
The successful candidate should progress to Sales Director level within 3 years.
Overview of the role
We are looking for a National Sales Controller with extensive experience in the FMCG drinks industry to lead and manage arguably the most significant channel within the business.
Taking responsibility for the HORECA channel, the individual will be commercially rounded, with the ability to add value to the existing customer base through strategic planning.
In turn you will be part of an organisation who continues to drive value into their category, adding £240m in the last 12 months alone.

Job Description
Position Overview
- To act as an expert within the On Trade, HORECA and showcase channels
- To implement strong business development strategies, to ensure our premium brands are the preference of all clients and customers
- Management of one Key Account Manager and one Account Manager, ensuring development and performance plans and regular 1:1’s put in place
- Development of customer contact strategies
- Ensuring joint business plans support and align with existing and future contracts
- Co-ordinate effective and timely management of prices increases
- Deliver commercially viable plans in line with the overall company budget; from monthly forecasting to annual margins, revenue and volume targets
Key Attributes
- An unrivalled ability to interpret financial measures in order to forecast and implement strong commercial plans.
- Have a great understanding on the overall business, building alignment and integration of plans
- Be a strong communicator, with the ability to oversee and manage a team effectively
- Manage and develop existing relationships, communicating new insights and sustaining credibility, as well as enabling the ability to influence and negotiate
