The Business

The businesses has been a leading player in the consumer appliances scene for some years but are adapting their model to meet the needs of the modern consumer so have some exciting times ahead. They have refreshed the business from the bottom up to become a cutting edge provider of quality consumer products.

The Role

With an organisation change in marketing strategy underway, the business is looking to throw out outdated marketing models and turn marketing from push to pull. Shopper is king in this business and you will be tasked with driving channel strategy/segmentation to attract customers at the point of purchase in an increasing cluttered aisle driven affected by fierce sales activity. You will be assisted by a team of 5-6 individuals and have full rein over all channels and product sectors.

The Individual

This role would suit a current Channel Marketing Manager/FMCG Marketing Manager or Shopper Marketing Manager looking for a step up. You will know everything there is to know about shopper and BTL campaigns and have some line management experience under your belt – however small. A commercial mind-set combined with some creative marketing flair is essential. To succeed you must share a “win win” mentality and be prepared to “roll up those sleeves” when needed.
