£20,000 - £30,000 + Bonus + Car / Car Allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a branded coffee roasting business. They have been in the coffee industry for over 100 years and sell both into the catering trade and to the public. They have a fantastic selection of coffee beans, fresh coffee and specialty teas sourced from all over the World. Not only this but they also supply catering equipment and glassware into the trade and offer a variety barista training courses for people looking to get into the industry. With a real focus on developing innovative new blends and flavours and providing the right solutions for their customers they are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to take over the Foodservice channel in the North East of England.

As Business Development Executive you will be responsible for managing the existing Foodservice portfolio of accounts in the North Eastern territory as well as calling on new customers and bringing on new accounts. The customer base will include Restaurants, Bars, Clubs and Hotels as well as NHS and Educational outlets. You will be targeted on the amount of new sales value that you generate as well as the sales and volume growth of the existing accounts. You will be rewarded with a bonus that equates to 1% of the total new business sales you have generated in that year so there is real incentive to get out there and acquire new customers.

In order to be considered for this position you will need experience selling into the Foodservice channel from an FMCG Food or Drinks background. People from a Foodservice Wholesale background would also be considered for this role. This is a great opportunity to join a small, innovative business and really help it grow. You will need to be a hungry, driven sales person with a customer focussed mind-set and the ability to develop long term working relationships.
