A fantastic opportunity has arisen within one of the UK’s most exciting young tea businesses. They are a hugely ethical business sourcing all ingredients via Fairtrade means and ensuring they work in a sustainable way. Having recently refreshed the brand’s image, expanded their portfolio to include a huge array of innovative new tea blends, and seen some great early success they are now looking for a Business Development Executive to support their current National Sales Manager in the Foodservice channel.

Working closely with the current National Sales Manager you will pick up some of his current responsibilities including the management of regional and smaller national accounts. These will consist of Foodservice distributors as well as some end user accounts from the channel which are yet to be decided upon. You will be tasked with agreeing JBPs for your existing customers as well as identifying and following up on new business leads to generate additional revenue. There will be an expectation for you to present and pitch to these customers with support from the National Account Manager.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need to have experience of account management at either a regional or national level. Having managed customers in the Foodservice channel would be a real advantage but is not necessarily essential. Candidates from any FMCG background will be considered but those from food and drink will be preferred. You will need to be flexible as the role will require a degree of long distance travel with customers being located in both the North and South of England. You will be a hungry, driven individual with the ability to pitch and present confidently in front of potential customers and be both numerate and computer literate. This is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing sales person to help a great new brand grow and develop.
