Interim  National Account Executive  – Convenience & Impulse & Cash/Carry ( 10 month contract)

Based within one hour commute from Buckinghamshire

Up to £32,000 + ( Bonus ) + Car

Major branded FMCG business with exciting plans for the future, they manufacture a range of instantly recognisable brands throughout the UK & Europe.  They now seek an Interim National Account Executive to manage part of their Convenience & Impulse  channel customers.

Reporting to the Account Controller the role is to assist with business plans and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth for this category. The role will include developing relationships cross functionally, developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.

Ideal candidates will have a structured FMCG background with some experience of the Convenience / Impulse channel that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management ideally with some exposure to P/L.

Some of the accounts you will be managing: Londis, Nisa, Blakemore, Landmark, Costcutter.

You will be looking for a Key Account Management position with an ability to negotiate at a range of customer levels

This role is for a Maternity cover but this may lead to a permanent position.

The business can mix the classical candidate with candidates who can demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit.
