The Company

A privately owned manufacturer of a wide range of products for the home and garden. My client has grown significantly through on-going investment in product development and UK manufacturing facilities. The company operates across multiple channels including grocery, department stores, DIY sheds, discounters and independent retail. In addition to being a market leader in the UK, my client also has a strong presence internationally across a number of recognised brands and own label products. With 10% growth predicted for this year, the opportunity has now arisen to appoint a new National Account Manager to the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a range of account across channels including grocery, DIY sheds, discounter and department store, although the exact portfolio will depend on your experience. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will have a high level of autonomy and will be a very visible member of the team. As the business continues to grow this will result in excellent career prospects.

The Candidate

Ideally you will have a background within consumer products such as housewares, kitchen products, garden or DIY. You could be a Key Account Manager looking to step up your career, or an established National Account Manager looking for a new challenge. Either way, you must be an excellent communicator, capable of working in a fast paced and growing business. You need to be confident dealing with several retail categories and a large number of products.
